William’s background and training is in business administration and marketing. He received his BS from the University at Buffalo, where he served as the President of the Black Student Union, the largest student organization on campus. He was responsible for planning college conferences, banquets and fashion and culture shows with audiences as large as 1500. William also earned his MBA from Howard University, where he served as the Events Manager for the Graduate Business School Council, planning the annual week of programs for his graduating cohort . William began his career as a Community Relations Marketing Manager for the City of Buffalo in 2010. During his tenure he was responsible for planning and executing city-wide community events including the Mayor's Citizens’ Empowerment Conference, with nearly 1000 attendees and vendors. William went on to work in brand management, where he was responsible for launching new, nationally distributed consumer products and driving brand and product equity through strong consumer marketing activation’s. Currently, he works in technology building sales enablement materials and co-developing direct-to-advertiser event and content activations to help drive the sale of advertising solutions at Amazon Ads.
