Lynecia Burgess, Governance
Lynecia Burgess is a New York native where she attended St. John’s University. There, she earned her Bachelor' Degree in Journalism and concentration in business administration. Shortly after attending school she spent time writing and editing a website dedicated to the emerging fashion and lifestyle culture of the African diaspora. She later pivoted to a career in paid media and advertising, working as a media buyer in her native New York executing and negotiating direct response cable and broadcast television campaigns for brands such as Church & Dwight, Allergan and AT&T. She’s currently a Planning Strategist working in a media sales organization in Manhattan where she creates and executes media plans through the country’s top multichannel video programming distributors.
